Chinese for Native Speakers

Chinese for Native Speakers: The Bilingual Children's Language Course

To meet the demand for Chinese courses for native speakers among Chinese-German families or Chinese families living in Germany, the Confucius Institute Munich will officially launch new Chinese courses for primary school children in March 2025. The course focuses on learning Chinese characters, creating a learning environment that combines both fun and professionalism.

The language courses take place once a week and last 90 minutes each. The course schedule follows the school semester, and there are no classes during school holidays.

Starting in September 2025, we will be offering this bilingual language course for all age groups.

  • For elementary school students in grades 1 to 4
  • For students in grades 5 & 6
  • For students in grades 7 & 8

All courses are taught by experienced teachers who are native Chinese speakers.

Group Size: Maximum of 12 participants (minimum of 5 participants required).

Teaching Format: In-person classes.

Enrollment Requirements:

  • Chinese as a native language
  • Enrollment for at least one semester
  • Complete the questionnaire

New beginner courses start after the summer holidays in September. Entering an ongoing course is possible at any time. Contact us!
