Information about privacy and data protection

Registration for HSK examinations occurs directly via the website of the Confucius Institutes (Hanban) examination centre in Beijing, which is responsible for gathering and storage of the details submitted by examination participants. The Confucius Institute Munich (KIM) is not involved in this data collection, and has no influence on the usage of the data by the Hanban examination centre. The Hanban examination centre forwards to the KIM the registration details of the students who wish to sit the examination at the KIM, for the purposes of identification and contact. The KIM saves these personal details for the purpose of examination organisation, and then deletes them after completion of all examination-relevant processes. The details will not be passed on to any third parties.
