As an official HSK test centre, you can take the Chinese language examinations HSK (written), HSKK (oral) and YCT (Youth Chinese Test) with us. We offer multiple examination dates per year, which are open to all Chinese learners. We are the first test centre in Germany to conduct the computer-based HSK examination for levels 4 to 6. Registration for all examinations must be done online on the Chinese Testing International website. Please note our information about privacy and data protection.

According to the anouncement of the Examination Center in Beijing examinations at the Confucius Institute Munich will consist of a combination of HSK and HSKK exams. Chinese learners of the HSK level 3 and above will thus have to take two exams, the HSK test (writing, reading, listening) and the HSKK test (speaking). In addition, please make sure to take a look at the changed examination fees.

Since September 2015 HSK 5 and 6 examinations at the Munich test centre are only possible on the computer. For HSK 4 we offer both the paper-based examination and the computer-based examination. Please select your preferred option during registration. HSK levels 1 to 3 continue to be paper-based.

The end time of the examination can vary due to differing preparation and completion times.
Registration for the Chinese language examinations HSK, HSKK and YCT in the Munich test centre can only be made online, on the Chinese Testing International website: www.chinesetest.cn. The registration deadline is usually 31 days before the examination date. The registration deadline for the computer-based examination is approx. 14 days before the examination date.
For the registration please keep your identification document (identity card or passport) and a digital passport photo handy (obligatory for all HSKK levels and HSK from level 4).
How to register online
Important: After registration on chinestest.cn you will always receive an confirmation email within seven days. (Please also look in your spam folder!) If you have not received this email after seven days, please contact us (hsk(at)konfuzius-muenchen.de).
The examination results can be viewed on www.chinesetest.cn 30 days after the examination by using your admission ticket.
All examinees will be informed by email when their certificates are ready to be picked up (approx. 6 to 8 weeks after the examination date).
Registration for HSK examinations occurs directly via the website of the Confucius Institutes (Hanban) examination centre in Beijing, which is responsible for gathering and storage of the details submitted by examination participants. The Confucius Institute Munich (KIM) is not involved in this data collection, and has no influence on the usage of the data by the Hanban examination centre. The Hanban examination centre forwards to the KIM the registration details of the students who wish to sit the examination at the KIM, for the purposes of identification and contact. The KIM saves these personal details for the purpose of examination organisation, and then deletes them after completion of all examination-relevant processes. The details will not be passed on to any third parties.
Please note that the guidelines for data protection in the People's Republic of China are different to those applicable in the EU, and that there is no resolution from the EU Commission verifying that the level of data protection in the People's Republic of China is adequate.
