Wushu for children

The goal of the children’s wushu training is to increase fitness/stamina, full-body, arm and leg strength, as well as improve response capacity, coordination, agility and flexibility. Children also develop their concentration skills and classic martial art values such as discipline and respectful behaviour.

Training content

  • Wushu basic moves and positions (jibengong)
  • Basic self-defence techniques
  • Wushu basic sequences with examples of use

For children aged 7 to 12 years.

Scope

Training sessions of 60 minutes parallel to the school semesters
(weekly)

Fee

€160

Sibling discount: If two or more siblings take part in the wushu course, we grant a discount of one training session per child.


About the trainer

Christoph Huynh has been a master student of Sun Jianguo, head of the WuYuan School in Munich, since 2002, and has been teaching children kungfu and taichi there for many years. He is a member of the German wushu national team, has been the German wushu champion several times, and is one of the top wushu athletes in Germany. He regularly participates, with great success, in official European and world wushu/taichi championships. Most recently he placed third in xingyiquan at the World Wushu Championships in Kazan, Russia, and 3rd in chen taichi at the World Taichi Championships in Burgas, Bulgaria. Christoph has visited China for training multiple times and has reached the 5th Duan level of wushu.
