The Confucius Institute Munich is a platform for cultural exchange, and offers a space for intercultural encounters.
It is important to us to give a comprehensive and nuanced image of China, and to make it possible to experience Chinese culture with all the senses. We regularly organise and support a variety of cultural events in Munich and Bavaria, including the Jour Fixe presentation series for Stiftung ex oriente, the Chinese film festival Munich, Cinema for Chinese films, exhibitions, concerts, readings, theatre performances, and presentations with Chinese artists and experts.
Since 2016 we have been part of the worldwide pilot project "Culture Confucius Institute".
